Overview

Are you a UK Home Fee status student looking for some extra funding? How would a £5,000 scholarship help?

Use the money to support the cost of your education-related expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, accommodation, or other essential costs that help you to keep the focus on your studies. 

The Univeristy is delighted to be able to offer Scholarships through its partnership with Santander.  There are 6 scholarships worth £5,000 each available.

Eligibility

Meet elements of published widening participation criteria:

  • from a low participation area as defined by POLAR 4 in quintile areas 1 and 2; which are the lowest participation areas.  Further details of this can be found at: Search by postcode - Office for Students
  • Have a low household income or low socioeconomic status
  • from an ethnic minority background
  • Are disabled
  • Are a young carer
  • Are a Care Leaver
  • Are a refugee or asylum seeker
  • Are estranged from your parents (as determined by Student Finance England)
  • Are an adult learner (over 25)
  • Are a white working-class male
