About the scholarship
The School of Archaeology and Forensic Sciences, University of Bradford invites high-quality proposals from applicants for a PhD studentship tenable for three years from either 1 October 2020 or 1 February 2021, in affiliation with the Heritage Consortium and North East Consortium for Arts and Humanities, at the University of Bradford.
All students will enrol on the University's research training modules and will take part in activities from the Consortium.
The Studentships are open to home students.
Applicants should usually have a 1st class undergraduate degree or Master's level research qualification in a relevant area (or be completing their Master's programme), and can be held either full-time or part-time. A 2:1 degree may be considered, if combined with relevant experience or professional qualification.

- People and Landscapes
Interdisciplinary research is welcome, linking archaeology, archaeological sciences, forensics, heritage and related areas with disciplines represented by HC/NECAH, which include:
- Art and design
- Creative writing
- Digital arts and new media
- Drama and performing arts
- English language and literature
- Gender studies
- Media, communication and cultural studies
- Northern Ireland
Payment amount & frequency
Studentships include fees and stipend (living expenses) at the UK Research Council rate.
