Overview
The University of Bradford is offering a 20% reduction in postgraduate taught tuition fees to those affected by redundancy during the pandemic.
The reduction is offered to help those affected enhance their skills for future employment.
We understand that redundancy can be difficult to bounce back from. We want to help you if you’ve been affected, and support you in taking back control of your future.
Payment amount and frequency
20% discount on first year tuition fees.
Eligibility
- Potential students who have been made redundant since the 1 April 2020, due to the impact of Covid-19.
- The discount will follow the usual discount/scholarship protocols – ie one scholarship/discount per student – if the student is eligible for more than one discount/scholarship, the one with the largest monetary value will be applied.
- UK Nationals only.
- Please note that this discount does not apply to students on MBA programmes.
- Please note that this discount only applies to students who were made redundant prior to them enrolling onto a course at the University

If you feel that you meet the eligibility criteria then please email us at bursaries@bradford.ac.uk including your name and UB number. You will be asked to demononstrate your unemployed status through the production of a valid P45.
Further information
Please note, students may only claim one discount or bursary from the University towards their study, e.g. students may not receive the Alumni fee discount and the postgraduate bursary.
