Overview

The Chevening Europe Scholarship is a prestigious, fully funded award supporting outstanding students from eligible European countries to pursue postgraduate study.

Funded by the UK Government’s Chevening programme, this scholarship is designed for future leaders, influencers, and decision-makers with a strong commitment to driving positive change in their home countries.

The award enables scholars to undertake a one-year master’s degree at the University, while building global networks and leadership skills.

Payment amount and frequency

  • The scholarship will cover the tuition fees and a lump sum to cover travel cost to the institution – it will not cover living costs.

Eligibility

  • Be a citizen of an eligible European country
  • Meet the academic requirements for entry onto a full-time postgraduate taught programme
  • Demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to public service
  • Have at least two years’ work experience (this can include internships, volunteering, or part-time work)
  • Meet the University’s English language requirements
  • Be willing to return to their home country for a minimum of two years after completing their studies
