Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
A rewarding collaboration for academics, businesses and universities
KTP is a UK-wide programme, funded by Innovate UK and is one of the largest graduate recruitment programmes across the Britain. It helps businesses to improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance by forming a partnership with an academic institution and accessing their skills and expertise.
The University of Bradford has facilitated over 80 KTPs and has worked with small and large businesses such as Yorkshire Water, Bombay Stores and BAE Systems. Across the UK, KTP has worked with over 3,000 organisations and 6,000 graduates.

“Working with a local business has allowed us to take ‘academic’ ideas out into the real world and put them to the test, finding out what really works and where the problems are. We think this has been a mutually beneficial process.”
