BBSRC grant awarded to study motion in depth
The BBSRC has awarded grant funding to Prof. Marina Bloj at the University of Bradford to study motion in depth with colleagues in the University of St. Andrews, and the University of York.
The project, entitled "Neural pathways underlying human 3D motion perception", is a collaboration between Professor Julie Harris at the University of St. Andrews, Professor Alex Wade at the University of York and Professor Marina Bloj at the University of Bradford.
The overall goal is to study the underlying neural mechanisms that process 3D motion in human vision, using both both psychophysical and imaging-based techniques. The project is scheduled to start at the beginning of January 2015.
More details of the project can be found via a specific project page at the BBSRC website.
