Covid 19 Research

Welcome Note - Research is the only pathway to innovation

During this unprecedented global pandemic, both research and innovation have played vital roles in the defence against Covid-19. Bradford academics are often pioneering in their fields of expertise, and it has been a privilege to watch such resilient and dedicated research teams stand up and take their place in an international effort.

The e-book ‘University of Bradford Research into Covid-19’ showcases what our experts have been doing to further understand the many and varied consequences of Covid-19 from multiple societal perspectives. From supply chains to the coatings of medicine tablets, local economic fallout to the consequences of the pandemic on pharmacy services. We will of course continue in our research efforts, delivering policy-shaping insight to provide invaluable knowledge and innovation. For if we are once again faced with such an uncompromising virus, we know that our research will help galvanise the strategy of service providers and policymakers going forward.
