1) To enhance and understanding students' knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice in holistic cancer treatment and care by examining the pathological processes involved in cancer and how these influence diagnosis and treatment.
(2) To use critical analytical skills evaluating theory and knowledge so that clinical practice, quality improvement and service provision are optimised in the students' professional development.
