This module aims to provide the students with the opportunity to develop in-depth awareness andunderstanding of the processes and strategies for the sourcing of medicines and its relevance to the availabilityof affordable quality medicine. Students will also develop their knowledge and understanding of the principlesof operations, supply chain and quality management, from raw materials sourcing through to the customer,including how to design and manage a sustainable supply chain and mitigate risks and emerging challengeswithin the pharmaceutical supply chain.
