This module aims to develop your awareness of the purpose, scope and limitations of the law, morality and justice in the construction and processing of criminal behaviours; to develop your understanding of the criminal law and specific crimes and defences available; to facilitate the ability to analyse and correctly apply legal principles to specific factual scenarios; to provide an understanding of the nature of criminal liability and an awareness of the elements of a crime.
