Module Aims

1. To provide students with a knowledge and understanding of research methods in the social sciences that will help them to evaluate and utilise social science research in a range of contexts.

2. To provide students with the literacy in social science methodologies that is required of graduate social science students and that his expected in a range of graduate employment contexts as well as in further study.

3. To provide students with an understanding of how social science research is used in academic and public policy contexts.
