This module will introduce you to the biological, psychological and sociological perspectives of nursing care. You will begin to develop knowledge in the disciplines of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, psychology and sociology to enable you to gain a fundamental understanding of human processes in health and illness across the age spectrum. This will underpin your ability to make informed assessments of an individual’s needs across care settings.
