To provide students with: 1. Advanced creative approaches for facilitating communication and working with people with dementia and their relatives 2. Complex conceptual understanding of the factors influencing communication between people with dementia, relatives and practitioners 3. The ability to critically interpret communication between people with dementia, relatives and practitioners and make recommendations to enhance communication and inclusion 4. Initiative to review and make recommendations regarding multidisciplinary partnership working to enhance the communication and involvement of people with dementia and relatives
