The module will examine the role of science in Society. It will also draw on the history of science to show how science operates in society. The module will provide students with the opportunity to (1) develop and consolidate the skills required for successful learning in higher education including the ability to identify and reference academic literature, and (2) to improve written communication and presentation skills.
