Module code: SAC3013-B
This module has two purposes. Firstly, it will explore the culture and institutions of UK society to support your transition into the academic environment including topics such as government, science, health, law and the media. Secondly, this module will support you to reflect on how you develop as a learner over the whole of this foundation programme by using resources from your other modules to evidence your skills and knowledge.
The stages of the group based project including working in a multi-disciplinary context; working with media technologies; understanding the social, cultural and political aspects of global media, as well as the creative and technical aspects; exploring an area of academic study to support effective learning strategies and progression onto undergraduate study.
