Module Aims

This module aims to provide the students with the opportunity to develop in-depth awareness and understanding of the processes and strategies for the sourcing of medicines and its relevance to the availability of affordable quality medicine. Students will also develop their knowledge and understanding of the principles of operations, supply chain and quality management, from raw materials sourcing through to the customer, including how to design and manage a sustainable supply chain and mitigate risks and emerging challenges within the pharmaceutical supply chain.
