To facilitate students to engage critically with current issues and debates in diversity research and practice to support personal and professional development.
The syllabus will vary from year to year depending on the programme of approved seminars, workshops, short courses and conference presentations. It will; however, always reflect current developments, debates and topical issues in diversity and inclusion research and practice presented by prominent academics and researchers with a specialist interest in this field. Generic features of the syllabus within any academic year will include: development in diversity management; evidence-based practice; ethical issues in the conduct of practice development and research with diverse groups; innovative methodologies in diversity research.
