In the midst of the global pandemic, businesses need skilled HR specialists to help them implement policies, practices and procedures that will enable them to thrive both during and beyond this challenging period. This makes human resources an incredibly exciting area to work within.

Not convinced? Here are eight of the biggest benefits of studying a Human Resource Management Master’s at the University of Bradford.

CIPD Accreditation

The Human Resource Management MSc is accredited by the CIPD, the professional body for HR, so you’ll graduate with both a postgraduate degree and a level 7 CIPD qualification, which will help you stand out in the job market. You’ll also benefit from associate level CIPD membership and the University will cover the costs of joining and your first year of membership.

Career prospects

The wide ranging remit of human resources will leave you with plenty of options once you graduate. You’ll be equipped to take on HR roles in a range of organisations, as well as specialise in a particular area of HR such as diversity and inclusion or employee relations. The skills gained on a HR Master’s degree will also set you up for a range of roles outside of HR such as management consultant, life coach and recruitment consultant.

Solve real problems

As a Human Resource Management student, you’ll be focused on making people and organisations work more effectively. Whether it’s analysing real-life case studies, taking part in practical group projects or heading into the field on industry placements, you’ll be making your mark on the world throughout your time here at Bradford.
