Coronavirus: University guidance and updates
The health and wellbeing of our students, staff and visitors is our main priority.
We know that many people are understandably anxious about the current Covid-19 pandemic, and we are taking measures to address your concerns, to protect your health and wellbeing, and to ensure that high quality learning, teaching and research can continue.
We are pleased to update that the 2020/21 academic year will start as planned in September, albeit two weeks later than usual, with Welcome Week taking place on 28 September 2020 and teaching beginning on 5 October 2020.
Our campus will be open and – following all national safety guidelines – we look forward to welcoming new and returning students to our community here in Bradford. To help keep our students and staff safe, all of our programmes will provide a blended approach to learning and teaching. This means that all students will have an on-campus and online experience.
Of course, the situation around the Covid-19 pandemic continues to change and government advice continues to develop. The information on these pages will be updated regularly and you should use this, and the emails sent to you, as your main source of information about the University's response to this situation.
On these pages you will find information and resources to enable you to apply, study, work and get support.

Public health update for Bradford district
Public health experts are urging people throughout Bradford district to continue to stay alert to COVID-19, and follow the latest safety guidelines.
As we take more and more steps towards returning to a more normal life, it’s easy to believe that COVID-19 is less of a threat to our health and the health of our family and friends. This is simply not the case.
