World recognition for Distance Learning MBA

The University of Bradford School of Management has performed strongly in the Financial Times Online MBA Rankings 2026, with its Distance Learning MBA ranked highly both worldwide and nationally.

The MBA programme has been ranked third in the world for Value for Money, and achieved fourth place worldwide for International Mobility, reflecting graduates’ ability to transition into new countries and roles following their studies at Bradford.

It also secured sixth place globally for Career Progress, highlighting the steps alumni make in seniority and the size of the organisation they work for within three years of completing the MBA.

Sustainability showcased

Bradford’s dedication to sustainability continues to stand out, with the MBA ranked fifth in the world for ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) and Net Zero teaching. This metric highlights the integration of ethical leadership, social responsibility and climate-focused content across core modules.

Nationally, the University remains one of the UK’s strongest performers, ranking second in the UK for Aims Achieved, with 79 per cent of alumni confirming the programme met their primary goals. It is also fourth in the UK for Programme Delivery, reflecting high levels of satisfaction with online teaching, materials and assessment.

Global relevance

Professor Yvonne Moogan, Director of University’s School of Management, said: “These rankings demonstrate the strength, resilience and global relevance of our MBA.

“We are incredibly proud of our students and alumni, whose achievements continue to showcase the transformative impact of a University of Bradford education.”

Bradford, ranked 19th overall, appears alongside business schools from the USA, Mexico, Germany, Italy and Portugal in the annual FT rankings.

The University’s Distance Learning MBA has featured in the FT’s global rankings for several years and has consistently been within the top tier of global business schools offering online MBA programmes.
