Events aim to promote awareness and inclusion

The University LGBT+ Staff Network is very proud to be hosting a series of events to celebrate LGBT+ History Month 2022.

Find the LGBT+ Staff network and UBU in the Richmond Atrium at 13:00 on Tuesday 1 February for our big launch and register for our events throughout the month.

Wednesday 16 February 13:00 to 14:30 (virtual event)

Decolonising Sexualities, Queering Decolonisation - Professor Dibyesh Anand, University of Westminster.

Wednesday 23 February 13:00 to 14:30 (virtual event)

Queer South-Asians : We have always been here! - Discussion panel with Norrina Rashid, Anas (Project Besharam) and Usman Ahmed.

Thursday 24 February 17:30pm to 19:30pm (on campus)

Zine Workshop with Sophie Powell. Make an 8-page folded zine to photocopy and trade, led by artist Sophie Powell. Using collage techniques we'll work on backgrounds, text and layout creating your own inspirational publication.

Monday 28 February from 10:30: for the LGBT+ allies breakfast in the Atrium. Drop by and learn how you can be an ally and maybe pick up some freebies. Open to all.
