PG Open Day

The University of Bradford is encouraging people to unlock new career opportunities through a postgraduate degree.

Prospective students will get the opportunity to find out how postgraduate study could help them develop new skills, improve earning potential or unlock a new career path.

Professor John Bridgeman, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Transfer at the University will open the event with an overview of postgraduate study and how postgraduate study can enhance your career.

John said: “I encourage anyone interested in postgraduate study to attend our open day and find out more. Many people don’t realise there are lots of funding options available including PG loans, Alumni discounts and scholarships. Whether you're interested in Master's degrees, research degrees or CPD courses you'll discover the flexible range of full-time and part-time courses that Bradford has to offer.

“This is also your opportunity to meet with cutting-edge researchers who are leading the way in addressing some of the biggest global issues. Talks on the evening will include ‘Water Security and Conflict in the Middle East’ and ‘How to Cure Cancer’.”

There will be sessions on funding a postgraduate degree, career opportunities and how to write a research proposal as well as course-specific talks and a chance to chat with academics and current students.

The next Postgraduate Open Day is on Tuesday 3 March, 4-7pm
