The University of Bradford is hosting its annual 'making diversity interventions count' conference

The conference, now in its sixth year and organised by the Centre for Inclusion and Diversity at the University takes place Wednesday June 1 and will feature the latest research and developments in the field of equality, diversity and inclusion in the world of work and service delivery.

With contributions from a wide range of eminent national and international speakers, this popular conference aims to explore the varying interventions aimed at advancing equality, with the objective of informing the development of good practice in the effective use of diversity interventions in organisations. The conference also provides a platform for the Barbara Burford annual memorial lecture. A lifelong champion of equality and diversity, Barbara inspired national level change through her work.

The themes of the conference are advancing diversity, measuring diversity, practicing diversity, inclusive leadership identity and belonging and intersectionality.

, Lecturer of Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Bradford said: “This conference is an opportunity to meet some of the leading voices on diversity in the country and a chance to discuss the developments and interventions taking place in organisations across the World.”

Attendees represent a cross section of staff including researchers, equality and diversity leads and practitioners from public, private, voluntary and community sector organisations, chief executives, HR /workforce directors and personnel. Service users and students are also regular attendees.
