Four to be honoured at University award ceremonies

The University of Bradford will award four honorary degrees on Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 July. Four accomplished members of the public will be awarded for their achievements and their valuable contributions to society.
- Roger Mosey will be made a Doctor of the University for his contribution to broadcasting, following his lifelong service to the BBC and media.
- David Richardson is be made a Doctor of the University for his role in supporting community cohesion and regeneration in Bradford.
- Maqsood Sheikh will be made a Doctor of Letters for his contribution to modern Urdu literature.
- Trevor Jarvis will be made a Doctor of Education for his long standing work to raise public awareness of dementia.
Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, Sue Kershaw, said “The University of Bradford is honoured to have such distinguished guests at this year’s award ceremonies.
“These eminent individuals are a credit to society and their respective professions. I hope their presence inspires our students to accomplish great things and to be driven in their future careers after they have graduated from the University.”
