The Bradford University School of Management is hosting a preview event for those who would like to fast-track their HR career through a CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development) accredited part-time MSc/Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Starting in September, the programme will be delivered over one afternoon and one evening each week, during term time to allow students to continue in employment whilst studying.
The preview event will be held on Thursday 17 June, from 6-8pm at Heaton Mount Executive Education Centre, School of Management, Keighley Road, Bradford, BD9 4JU.
Speakers at the event include:
- Bob Cannell from Suma, who was recently shortlisted for The Grocer award as Employer of the Year, and will deliver a session on People Management
- Les Hall, Vice Chair for CIPD West Yorkshire
- Dr Carol Atkinson, Senior Lecturer in HRM and Director of Studies for the programme.
Les Hall said: "I'm delighted to add my support to what is a truly innovative course, it will enable students to gain both a broad knowledge of the crucial and complex field of modern HR and an in-depth specialist understanding of the areas that most interest them."
This year is the last chance for students to enrol on a CIPD-accredited course and be automatically awarded Graduate Membership of the CIPD upon completion.
The School of Management is one of Europe's leading full-service business schools, regularly featuring in league table rankings such as the Financial Times. Our graduates have excellent career prospects and some of the highest employment rates of any business school.
