Get creative at a degree show

The School of Computing, Informatics and Media (SCIM), at the University of Bradford, is inviting members of the public to the Bradford Media School and Creative Technology Degree Show on the 15 May 2009.
The show will give the opportunity for visitors to view the excellent work emerging from the School, an award winning establishment and a member of Skillset Media Academy. It will hold screenings of students work and display a full range of work including award winning projects, posters and interactive computer displays.
The event will benefit potential employers and students alike, as it will give employers the chance to view students work first hand. It will also help support this year's graduates by making employment links for them within in the local area.
The event will be attended by special guests Harry Gration and Christa Ackroyd from Look North, who will be attending for some part of the day and will take time to view the students pioneering work.
Head of Creative Technology at SCIM, Mark Goodliff, said: "We are delighted that the School of Computing, Informatics and Media are celebrating its students success by showcasing their innovative work. We hope their achievements and talents are recognised by employers within the local community."
The show will be held at 10.30am until 4.30pm in the National Media Musuem, Bradford.
