Work Experience: Ellie has spent the last two and a half years working with ACTED in Jordan and South Sudan. The majority of this time was spent in South Sudan working with refugees in Maban as the project manager of peace programming and then with internally displaced persons in UNHOUSE’s Protection of Civilian site in Juba as the camp manager. Before this Ellie interned with an organization called Nobel Women's Initiative, formed by six female peace prize laureates to advocate for female peacebuilders and campaign for justice. During her undergraduate studies Ellie was also able to live abroad in Ghana for her third year where she solidified her resolve to work in the humanitarian sector.
