Biography

Dr Mishra is a Director for Work Placement & Internship, and, a Lecturer in Logistics, Supply Chain and Technology Management at School of Management.

Before joining School of Management in January 2014, she was a post-doctoral researcher at AIMTech Research Group, University of Leeds working on two EU FP7 funded projects, ImREAL and ACROPOLIS. While at AIMTech, Jyoti was involved in several projects investigating technology use for organisations. She has also undertaken consultancy for the UK Police Services.

Before working in business and management school, Jyoti taught undergraduate engineering students at lecturer and senior lecturer level. She worked as a Deputy Head of Department for Computer and Electronics Engineering and then as Assistant Chief of Research & Consultancy Division in Higher Education in Nepal.

Jyoti is a World Social Science Fellow for RIA (Risk Interpretation and Action) at International Social Science Council. She is also an external examiner for University of Leeds and University of Bolton.
