Dr Ian Gregory

Ian has a broad background in operations management as a process consultant, IT consultant, entrepreneur and educator. This has been gained over the last 26 years in numerous sectors including manufacturing, engineering, healthcare, telecoms, ICT, HR services, power and retail on a global basis. His track-record includes consulting experience with PA Consulting Group and the Warwick Manufacturing Group, corporate audit and internal consultant roles with LucasVarity/TRW and engineering roles within Rolls-Royce plc.

Ian is the author of the book 'Profit from Time', published by Macmillan Business and holds an EngD on knowledge transfer from the University of Warwick, alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Manufacture, Design and Management from the University of Cambridge. He maintains research interests in lead-time reduction approaches, knowledge based processes (especially product and software development), consulting and knowledge transfer. Over his career he has built strong technical IT skills including programming.
