Other ways to get involved
Bringing business and students together is what we do. We believe that it is important to bring real life into the classroom as much as we can. Therefore we rely on your help!
We hope that we have raised your interest in what we have to offer and you are now thinking about how exactly can you get involved and contribute your skills and experience.
So, as well as getting involved through recruiting our students and graduates for work or project opportunities, there are many other possibilities, depending on:
- how much time you have to offer
- whether your interests lie in recruitment or research
- whether you want to share your expertise and skills
- whether you want to give your staff development opportunities in recruiting and interviewing
- if you are an alumnus of the Faculty and want to give something back to the University of Bradford
Bring a touch of realism into the classroom by inputting your professional knowledge.
All our second year undergraduate students undertake an employability and enterprise module designed to build practical skills, to challenge and prepare them for the world of work.
Possible activities that you can contribute to include mock assessment centres, CV checking, interview advice, labour market expertise.
There is also the opportunity to contribute to taught academic modules; this could be by providing a case study, hosting a visit to your organisation or by providing a guest lecture.
