Many organisations use internships as the first round of selection for their graduate schemes.

The University currently offers a number of internship schemes for both undergraduates and graduates.

The different schemes on offer might seem complicated but don’t let that put you off if you think that your organisation could benefit!

Get Inspired (four weeks) and Summer Experience (8-12 weeks) are for undergraduates who have completed their 2nd year of studies. The schemes vary in length but basically have the same aim that of providing a company with a proactive, enthusiastic student who can come in with some new ideas, energy and fresh outlook.,

All types of opportunities can be considered as an internship - whether you have a particular project in mind, for example using social media to promote one of your new products, an event that needs coordinating, or an IT package that needs an overhaul.

We welcome opportunities from all organisations including private companies, local authorities, charities and other not-for-profit organisations.

You can submit an internship proposal from April onwards, with undergraduates ready to join you any time from May onwards.
