Professor John Reast, Dean of the School of Management, addresses DBA alumni and students in Heaton Mount
During the last decade research conducted by our DBAs has encompassed a range of management challenges including, to name a few; facilitating the growth of small business in Ghana; the relevance of entrepreneurial networking in Africa; risk management in investment banking; holistic marketing strategy in health care industries; and leadership effectiveness in cross-cultural settings. A total of 163 topics have been and are currently being researched.
Alumni and students enjoyed a variety of activities including a tour of the campus and evening dinner at Heaton Mount with a trio of research workshops delivered by Carole Howorth, Professor of Family Business and Entrepreneurship and Associate Dean for Research and Knowledge Transfer at the School, Jackie Ford, Professor of Leadership and Organisation Studies (below left), and Stuart Roper, Professor of Marketing (below right).
On Saturday guests were treated to an excursion to Harewood House in Harewood near Leeds.
