Class of 1967 - Reunion Lunch - October 2011
Location: School of Management, Emm Lane, Bradford
Date and Time:
Sat 15 Oct 2011, 12:00 - 15:00
A successful reunion event took place last year when Bradford Alumni of 1967 revisited the School and had lunch with School representatives in October 2011. They were one of the first groups to graduate from the School and most were on the Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Administration programme.
Those that attended expressed their enjoyment in taking the opportunity to return to the School and meet with former colleagues and class fellows:
“I enjoyed very much seeing the Management Centre again and I marvel at the changes. It was, of course, a delight to meet old friends for the first time in years, to reminisce and to carry on where we left off. I think everyone there regarded the time at Bradford as one of the times of their lives”. Steve La Grave, PG Dip 1967
“I thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learned much about the achievements and the challenges of the School of Management. I look forward to maintaining a continuing positive relationship with the School”. Martin Hindle, MSc 1967
“Thank you for a splendid day. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely” Mike Baker, PG Dip 1967
“We were all most impressed with the changes that had taken place since we were there, and no wonder the Management Centre is so well regarded internationally.” Richard Colley PG Dip 1967
Dr. Sarah Dixon was also delighted to meet with the alumni; “It was very good to meet fellow alumni and to show them a few of the changes to the campus. It was really great to hear the reminiscences and capture some of the atmosphere of studying at the School in the 60s.”
