The recovery time objective (RTO) is the duration of time a service must be restored after a major incident.

4 High priority tape recovery  3-5 days

6 Low priority tape recovery  3-4 weeks
7 Low priority tape recovery  1-3 months

Recovery Point Objectives

The Recovery Point Objective (RPO) is the maximum tolerable period in which data might be lost from an IT service due to a major incident.
