Arranging accommodation

Before you travel

We strongly advise anyone considering travelling to study at the University of Bradford to arrange accommodation before confirming their place. As has already been communicated to applicants: like many university cities, rental accommodation is in high demand in Bradford, particularly space suitable for families.

You can search for accommodation using the two providers listed below.

Unipol can help you find accommodation for a group of friends, family, or single persons.

Accommodation – Information for International Students Webinar

Due to high demand, it is getting harder and harder to find accommodation. If you want the latest advice on finding suitable accommodation, you can view this webinar we recorded in December. As well as featuring our expert Visa Support Team, we will be joined by members of the University’s Student Life team, Bradford Students Union, and Unipol – a unique charity that supports students with searching for accommodation, understanding contracts, and much more.

Bringing your family

We do not have accommodation on campus for cohabiting couples or families. Student accommodation usually provides single study bedrooms which are suited to individual students.
You can find advice on searching for family accommodation on the Unipol student homes website. The organisation will be able to recommend reputable lettings agents as well. Please note that family accommodation in Bradford is extremely limited

If you cannot arrange suitable accommodation you should travel alone.
You could potentially bring your family at a later date when you have secured accommodation for them. You must make sure you organise your accommodation before you travel, so that you are ready to sign your lease when you arrive.
