Important update for applicants from Bangladesh:
The University of Bradford has temporarily paused applications from self-funded postgraduate taught students from Bangladesh for upcoming intakes. We are also unable to continue processing existing applications from self-funded postgraduate taught students who have not yet reached the CAS stage. This does not apply to full-sponsored students, undergraduate and PhD applicants.

This decision has been made following a review of our international recruitment activity and our responsibilities as a UKVI Student Sponsor. Recent changes to UKVI requirements, alongside increased visa refusal rates, mean that we have taken this precautionary measure to protect our Student Sponsor Licence while we continue to monitor our performance data.

This pause is expected to be temporary and will be reviewed regularly. The latest updates will be published on this page.

This change does not affect:

  • Current students already studying at the University of Bradford.
  • Fully sponsored students, undergraduate, and PhD applicants.
  • Students progressing from the University of Bradford International College (UBIC) to the University of Bradford, subject to meeting progression and financial requirements.
  • Students who have already been issued with a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), who may continue with their visa application and plans to study at Bradford
