Practice Education in clinical placements is a key part of undergraduate study at the Faculty of Health Studies, accounting for up to 50% of credits.
The practical experience provided on placements helps equip our students for a career in Health and Social Care. They allow students to develop their skills in real world situations, with structured guidance and support from established professionals acting as student mentors.
It allows our students to get a feel for roles in Health and Social Care, both inside the NHS and in private settings, and identify areas of focus after graduation.
Our provision for practice education is highly regarded, with our initiatives attracting national attention.
This site allows students and mentors to access information on practice placements.
Placement evaluations should be submitted online through this site.
