Frequently Asked Questions

After you graduate

Now I've graduated, how can I keep in touch with the University?

The University of Bradford offers a range of services to our graduates, please keep in touch with our Alumni team.

When will my certificate be sent to me?

If you graduated in absentia, your degree certificate will be posted after 11 December 2017.

How do I get a certified copy of my certificate and how much does it cost?

A certificated copy of your degree certificate can be obtained in person from My Bradford at MyBradford at Richmond in the Richmond Building Foyer at a cost of £5 per colour copy.

Alternatively, you can place an order online for this facility by visiting our estore.

When will my University transcript be available and how do I get it?

Your official electronic University of Bradford transcript (HEAR) is available approximately (up to) three weeks after your graduation ceremony has taken place.

You will receive an email from us at that time providing full information and guidance on how to access GradIntelligence

In order to receive your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR), which is essentially your transcript, you will need to activate it before graduation.

Your HEAR includes information about the programme you studied, your modules of study and results, any other university recognised achievements and your final degree award so it is essential that you activate it before graduating.

To activate your HEAR please search for an email from Gradintelligence in your Bradford inbox which will include an activation link and instructions on how to complete the process.

If you do not activate your HEAR you will not receive one upon graduating. This is an important document which you can share in support of further study and job applications to evidence your credentials.
