Regulations for the Grant of the Title of Emeritus/Emerita Professor
Unless otherwise determined by the Council on the recommendation of the Senate, the title of Emeritus/Emerita Professor may be granted (in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 10) normally where the person concerned:
(a) Has attained the age of 60 years.
(b) Has held appointment as a professor for a minimum of 5 years.
(c) Is not continuing in remunerated employment with the University of Bradford.
(d) Has not resigned or be intending to resign in order to take up a salaried academic appointment elsewhere.
