Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for recommending to Council the University’s annual financial statements, financial forecasts and annual budgets and for monitoring the University’s overall financial viability and sustainability.

The Committee will recommend approval of the University’s Financial Strategy and be confident that it is sustainable and underpins the University Strategy. It will review key financial risks and ensure that appropriate mitigating actions are in place and are effective. It will ratify key assumptions used in financial planning by seeking explanation and clarification as appropriate and will review financial regulations, policies and procedures to ensure they are robust and follow best practice.

  • Monday 1 November 2021 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 18 October 2021),
  • Tuesday 30 November 2021 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 16 November 2021),
  • Monday 24 January 2022 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 10 January 2022),
  • Monday 21 March 2022 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 7 March 2022),
  • Monday 20 June 2022 (deadline for receipt of documents 12 noon, 6 June 2022).

NB Late documents will not normally be accepted and will be deferred to the next meeting.
