Developing a sustainable, world-class campus
We are constantly investing in our campus and facilities to ensure that our students and academics have a world-class teaching and learning environment and state-of-the-art facilities.
We have committed huge resources to improvements on campus over recent years includingour £6.5 million Institute of Cancer Therapeutics, and the £7 million Atrium.
Our building on the Emm Lane campus provides leading MBA teaching facilities, integrates the law library with the business and management library, and provide new teaching, social and office space.
Our J. B. Priestley Library is home to more than 100 unique and world-famous Special Collections, including the archive of J.B. Priestley, the first sketches of the nuclear disarmament symbol, and collections covering a wide range of our academic specialisms and local history.
In addition to preserving these precious items, we also make them available to anyone who wishes to learn from or enjoy them, and bring them to life via the web for audiences world-wide.
Our fitness and lifestyle facility, Unique, opened in July 2009. More than a sports centre, Unique provides personalised and friendly advice combined with high-quality facilities, state-of-the-art equipment and excellent value for money.
We are also an Ecoversity, meaning that we ensure our development is sustainable.
The University was awarded a prestigious Green Gown award in 2009 for its exceptional environmental and sustainability initiatives.
We are committed to providing the best possible facilities for teaching, learning, research and social activities at Bradford and will continue to upgrade our campus.
