What a difference a year makes: Bradford 2025 and the University of Bradford

Date and time

Attendance
This is an in-person event
Location
A group of people holding handmade lanterns on a cold dark evening.

Join us for a exciting public lecture exploring the impact of the University of Bradford’s contribution to Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.

Throughout the evening you will hear about four research projects that were delivered during Bradford 2025 and how through embedding art and culture they have connected communities and created long lasting impact. From co-designed games with sanctuary seekers, AI-driven approaches to evaluating large festivals, exploring death through art and using digital heritage to capture fans stories.

This is an opportunity to see how culture and research are coming together to amplify voices, spark dialogue and create a lasting impact beyond the City of Culture year.

Whether you’re curious about Bradford’s cultural transformation, interested in research that makes a difference, or simply looking for an inspiring evening, this event is for you.
