In a run-down community centre, four men convicted of domestic abuse offences gather each week in a last-chance programme to keep them out of prison. Leading them is Jen, a former police officer with her own secrets and scars.

Bindweed is a shattering and darkly funny play about responsibility and rehabilitation, which looks at what can be done to tackle abuse at its root and asks whether accountability can ever truly lead to transformation. This powerful, intimate exploration is theatre at its most compelling.

This is an amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
