Down To Earth

About
Down To Earth sounds an environmental alarm.
Down to Earth is a startling collection of works by 12 diverse artists, each exploring urgent environmental themes, imploring us to look at the disruptive human impact we are having on our planet. It includes sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking, textile art and digital media. Plus bird and frog calls!
The thought-provoking art exhibition Down To Earth is being exhibited in the University of Bradford's Gallery II, Chesham Building, for a second showing for three weeks until Thurs 29th May 2025. The art exhibition had a very successful run at the Trapezium Arts gallery in Bradford city centre last autumn.
About the Producer
Caro Blount-Shah, the producer of Down To Earth, says that although the exhibition sounds an alarm for the future of our planet home, she doesn't want to scare people into believing that not much can be done, "We want to make people aware that much is already being done successfully, and that by making as many small changes in our lives as possible we can improve human health and save animal and plant habitats around the world. Protecting the environment is better for everyone's wellbeing, and awareness is key to that."
