You are invited to join the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Bradford as we launch our recent research report, entitled Countering Islamophobia on Campus.

We are proud to partner with the Aziz Foundation, who have part-funded the research conducted which explores Islamophobia on campuses with sector wide relevance and appeal to educators, researchers, EDI and HR professionals, equalities practitioners and students across disciplines.

The event is significant across the higher education sector with recommendations and interventions made which will aid institutions in countering racism and Islamophobia.

The event will be held at the University of Bradford BD7 1DP.

The event will be chaired by Lila Tamea, a PhD Scholar at Liverpool John Moores University with authors Dr Yunis Alam and Dr Izram Chaudry, both from the University of Bradford, joining the panel discussion.

The event will include an overview of the research and its findings as well as a conversation with the report's authors followed by a Q&A session.
