Management of Contractors
Estates and Facilities is committed to ensuring that works undertaken, commissioned or managed by themselves are carried out in a safe and healthy manner for the benefit of all employees, students, members of the public and contractors.
Estates and Facilities uses the RESET Certification Scheme to establish competency of all operatives working on the University premises. It is a requirement to be a member of this scheme to work for Estates and Facilities. If you require more information please contact the Estates and Facilities Health and Safety Officer on ext. 3493.

Contractors - Site Rules (pdf, 549KB) - Every contractor that works on University premises MUST sign up to the Site Rules and attend an induction at the University. Please contact your EFD Representative for further details.
If you see contractors on University premises working in an unsafe manner please contact us on ext. 3001.
