University of Bradford graduate is making a stir in the world of 3D animation

Masters graduate in 3D World

Rebecca-Louise Leybourne studied for an Undergraduate degree in BSc Computer Animation and Special Effects then continued on to a Postgraduate study for an MSc in Advanced Computer Animation and Special Effects.  Throughout her studies Rebecca has gained a great amount of knowledge and experience to which she has continued to have great success after graduating with an Undergraduate and Master’s degree from the University of Bradford.  

Now working on a six month contract at Andy Serkis' Imaginarium Studios, Rebecca will benefit from the skills she has learnt during her time studying within the Department of Creative Technology and in particular, the experience of working in our Motion Capture suite facility. Andy Serkis is an actor, most well known for playing his role as Gollum within the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Motion capture imaging equipment is what brought his character to life and is the equipment that Rebecca will be working with throughout her time at Imaginarium Studios.  

Rebecca has now also achieved having an article published in 3D World, a magazine for 3D artists. In the article, Rebecca discusses new Motion Capturing software, MotionBuilder 2014.
