Since 1995 the festival has applauded and recognised the talents of filmmakers from across the globe in becoming a yearly anticipated cultural aspect to the region’s calendar.
This year’s festival is bursting with an array of films from multiple genres, forms and nationalities, plus there will be some special appearances from acclaimed names to the filmmaking world. The programme for the festival is pieced together by a team that shares a great passion for film, of which includes our very own media and film studies extraordinaire Senior Lecturer, Dr Mark Goodall who is a guest programmer for the festival.
Many of our students, studying on a range of film and media will have the opportunity to experience the festival and will benefit through volunteering and receiving free passes to attend film screenings and events during the festival period. Bradford International Film Festival is a great opportunities for our students to network with industry experts and benefit from the wide range of cinema being screened throughout the festival.
