Our robotics teaching lab is used for a variety of modules from first year undergraduate through to MSc. It concentrates on mobile robots using a variety of hardware and software. It is also used extensively for undergraduate and MSc project work. Recent projects have included self parking robots; GPS based robots, self-balancing robots and maze-following robots.
The laboratory area has plenty of open flat space for testing as well as a variety of mazes and covered test areas. There are over 50 desktop PCs with general and specialist robotics software.
