Festivals in parks and pubs
It's all about City Park
The main event this month is the Bradford Festival being held in City Park.
Bands, bars, bicycles and lots of other things that don't begin with B will be taking place from Friday 8 - Sunday 10 July. Plan your weekend at the Bradford Festival website now.
City Park is also the place to be on Thursday 14 July, when the Bradford Big Screen will be showing the Royal Opera's Il trovatore. It starts at 19:15 but get there early for your seat, as it's first come first served.
And you've still got time to see Imran Qureshi's Garden within a Garden at City Park and Lister Park - read June's guide to find out more.
There's no place like the Alhambra
Don't miss out on the chance to see one of the longest running West End musicals - without having to leave Bradford. Wicked - a reimagining of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz - is on at the Alhambra from 20 July - 21 August.
Films in pubs
The first ever Drunken Film Fest takes place at the end of July in pubs and bars across Bradford. Watch screenings of independent films while enjoying a beer (or wine, or cocktails, or mocktails).
It takes place from Monday 25 - Saturday 30 July. Find out everything you need to know at the Drunken Film Fest website.
